Recently something extraordinary has happened in my life!
After losing my mother and father in law in the last year or so, facing a major surgery within my family and losing my job after plant closure and 29+ years of service, life has become a little challenging.
With the "Helping Hands and Feet" of Cedar Springs and God, my family and I have been on the receiving end of some gracious events.
I was asked one day "what I loved about God". My reply was "his ability to heal the sick and provide for the needy." All of which have been put into action in the 4 months up to today.
Prayers and a successful surgery for a family member.
Meals provided during a time of healing.
Partial employment during unemployment.
Gifts from the Givers of Cedar Springs and The Giving Tree.
And fulltime employment starting Monday 9-28-2009
I can't say enough to John, Karen, Members an Elders of Cedar Springs who have given there time and generosity to put light at the end of a long dark tunnel for someone in need. Again and again the people of Cedar Springs have provided hope, help and assistance, to so many, in so many ways!
It is a pleasure to be a member of Cedar Springs and with so many followers of Jesus Christ. Myself and family have been touched with its kindness, prayers and generosity. Thank you all so much for all you've done.
